Kickers may spend most of the football games watching from the sidelines, but when their team needs three points and time is running out, then kicking a field goal becomes the most pressure-packed job in sports. Repeatable preparation routine, master a consistent and kicking motion on the practice field so that each and everything comes naturally in-game situations. Dedicate most of your time to various kicking drills to improve accuracy, add distance, and score more points for your team.

Fundamentals

Kicking Workout

The Kicking Foot
Make contact with the ball with your instep instead of straight on over the laces. Using the inside of your foot gives you much more accuracy on your kicks.
The Standing Foot
Your standing foot shouldn’t be in front of or behind the ball but just to the side of it. If your standing foot is not alongside the ball, your balance will make it exceedingly hard to obtain the ball to go where you need it.
Constant Approach
Despite how long the kick is, be it a chip shot for an additional point on the limit of your distance, your approach must always be the same. Changing your strategies can throw off your technique, so you must go through the same method that feels comfortable.
The Follow Through
